A Raped Daughter
A FATHER’S DEFENSE OF HIS RAPED DAUGHTER-2
A young black girl was walking home from the grocery store one summer day in Mississippi. Two white males had been drinking heavily and drove up on the girl. They hit the girl in the back of the head with a full bottle of beer which knocked her out. They drug her into the woods and took turns raping her. They forced her to do numerous sexual acts. They then took a rope and tried to hang her from a tree. The branch of the tree broke. The men then took the battered girl and thew her off the bridge and let her die.
The two black men were apprehended. The two influential young men had hired experts attorneys who were doing an excellent job of defending the boys. The girls state appointed attorney was hardly a match for the skills of these well paid lawyers. As the court was rendering an innocent verdict, a large black man rushed into the court building and shot the two men in front of everyone.
The man, the girls father was apprehended and went on trial. He pleaded temporary insanity. Considering the circumstances should he be convinced or acquitted?
